NEKTON-Biotin supports a smooth transition during molting and the renewal of plumage. NEKTON-Biotin contains all essential vitamins, amino acids, minerals, trace elements, and 200,000 µg of biotin/kg. NEKTON-Biotin gives the bird a smooth and shiny plumage. The majority of feather damage occurring in birdkeeping is solely attributable to nutritional errors. Since feathers are made of protein, a particularly rich and balanced protein diet is a prerequisite for the formation of impeccable plumage. For a functioning metabolism, daily feed must contain sufficient vitamins, minerals, and trace elements. A large portion of animal losses that occur during molting is based on inadequate or unbalanced protein intake and/or insufficient provision of vitamins and minerals. The unfavorable ratio of amino acids in most plant feeds has been explicitly taken into account and balanced in the composition of NEKTON-Biotin.

During the application of NEKTON-Biotin, no additional vitamin preparation should be administered. NEKTON-Biotin is soluble in cold water and can be easily administered via drinking water or soft feed.

The protein (protein) absorbed with the feed is broken down by the bird in its gastrointestinal tract into individual building blocks (amino acids) and then rebuilt into its own proteins, which are also needed for feather development.

Feather development in nestlings and the renewal of feathers in molting birds are extremely complex processes and are associated with particularly high demands on the animal's overall organism.

Please note that NEKTON-Biotin must not be administered during breeding, as it may otherwise lead to disturbances in the breeding process.

Following this course of NEKTON-Biotin, you should return to the daily vitamin supply with NEKTON-S (multivitamin preparation) and NEKTON-MSA (mineral preparation).

Feeding Recommendations:
1 g NEKTON-Biotin per 250 ml of water or 100 g of soft feed.

It is advisable to prepare only as much drinking water/soft feed as the bird consumes daily and to change water/feed daily.

A leveled measuring spoon (included) corresponds to 1 g of NEKTON-Biotin.

In cases of severe feather damage, a double or triple dose of NEKTON-Biotin can be given at the beginning until the signs of feather renewal are visible. Afterwards, the normal dose is provided until the feather renewal is fully completed.

Storage: NEKTON-Biotin should be stored dry, without sunlight, between 15 °C and 25 °C.

Recommendation: Disinfect drinking vessels and feeding containers daily with NEKTON-Desi-Natural to ensure hygiene in feeding!
